Kelapo Coconut Oil Cooking Spray Review and GIVEAWAY!

A couple months ago I received an email from the lovely people at Kelapo cooking oil company, they had stumbled upon my blog and noticed I was blogging about living soy-free. They asked me if I would like to try out their all new soy-free Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Non-stick Cooking Spray. My eyes almost popped out of my head when I read the email because I thought I would never in a million years come across a healthy soy-free cooking spray! Anyone who knows me knows that I'm already a coconut oil fanatic and have turned so many of my friends on to it. So of course I told them YES YES YES I would love to try out the spray! They sent over the coconut oil spray and within a week or so and the first thing I made was a banana omelet, of course. I sprayed down my little frying pan, I didn't have to use very much at all because it coated the pan so nicely, and poured in my mixture of banana and eggs. It cooked up so perfectly without sticking to the pan! I was seriously amazed by how well it worked because for the last 2 years I have really missed the ease of using a cooking oil spray.

That week I continued to use it to make some allergy friendly cookies, coconut flour pancakes, chicken on my grill pan, and anything else I could think to cook. I was immediately hooked on this stuff and even got my roommate, Jordan, hooked on it as well! It made cooking and baking super easy. Occasionally the spray tip would get clogged since it is coconut oil and coconut oil turns into a solid in cool temperatures, so I would just run it under warm water for a few seconds. That would clear it right up and I would be back in business!

I think besides the fact that I can cook and bake like a normal person again, I also felt really confident that I was using a good quality oil that was heart healthy and not some fake oil spray that claims to be olive oil but is actually soy.
