I Made a Gluten-Free Pizza with Simple Mills Pizza Dough Mix

Recently, Chris and I had pizza night, but since I am gluten- and dairy-free, I couldn’t eat the same pizza that Chris was eating. So, I made myself a gluten-free, dairy-free, grain-free, soy-free pizza using the Simple Mills Pizza Dough mix, and it turned out incredibly flavorful. The crust came out crispy, held up well, and even reheated nicely the next day. I used a dairy-free mozzarella from Trader Joe’s, which melted and added a pleasant, familiar texture without any dairy. Even though the cheese in the photo and video below may not look melted, it was ooey-gooey, melt in your mouth good!

The Simple Mills mix makes enough for two 8" pies or one 10" square pie. I opted for the larger 10" option, though mine ended up not quite perfectly square — more of a weird oval shape — but that didn’t affect the taste or crispiness. Although I do think I should have kneaded the dough a little more and shaped it better - next time! Overall, it’s a fantastic option if you’re avoiding gluten, dairy, soy, and grains but still want a satisfying, crispy pizza crust. Have you tried it? Leave me a comment with your thoughts on it!
